Volunteers always Needed
We have 200+ members who give a little or a lot of their time in order to keep our U3A going. It includes our group leaders as well as the volunteers that look after membership, group needs, finance, IT etc. We take the U3A slogan “By the members for the members” very seriously and absolutely everything that needs doing gets done by one of our volunteers.
We have two types of volunteer – those who undertake a “named role” as a Trustee or in one of the Support Teams, for example Timetable Coordinator, or Renewals Officer, or those who help on an ad hoc basis and by doing so become STARS (Small Tasks as Required).
If you are already helping to run Camberley u3a in some way then thank you, but if you are still looking for the right opportunity to do this then please get in touch with our Vice-Chair. Together we can explore what you would like, and are able, to do; what skills and experience you can bring, and then we will find a match for you now or in the future.
